Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Belgian Cup winners Racing Genk are ready to meet the wage demands of Ike Ugbo to seal the permanent transfer of the Chelsea striker.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has continued to highlight the fact that Genk were serious contenders for the signature of the former England youth international and exclusively reported on Sunday that Ugbo has rejected potential moves to Feyenoord and Besiktas in favour of joining Genk or PSV Eindhoven.
The young attacker is back in London training with Chelsea as his agent negotiates his permanent departure from Stamford Bridge.
Contrary to reports, Racing Genk's plan to sign Ugbo does not hinge on the sale of Nigeria national teamer Paul Onuachu as manager John van den Brom could tweak his formation and play with two strikers.
Indeed, the Dutch football tactician tried this formation last season but discarded it simply because Cyriel Dessers was out of his element.
