Nurudeen Orelesi Confident Skenderbeu Korce Will Beat Neftci
Published: July 14, 2013Former Flying Eagles wing back Nurudeen Orelesi has commented on kënderbeu Korçë's Champions League meeting with Neftçi on Wednesday.
The 24 - year - old is excited to play in Europe's flagship club competition and acknowledges the difficulty of the game against the Azerbaijan champions.
Speaking to panorama - sport.com, Orelesi said: '' Certainly there is something good to play in the Champions League.
''It's a great feeling and things in that competition come out very differently, the responsibility is greater.
''To be honest the team looks good in psychological and physical preparation.
''We are focused on this challenge and we can make it.''
Orelesi is confident the the Albanian champions can qualify for the second round of the competition, having perfected strategies during pre - season training.
''I have to admit that this year we have worked quite well, to realize what we have not done in the first two seasons, the second qualifying round.
''I think the team is able to withstand the Azeri team and progress. It's time to show our true strength.
''Neftçi, I am convinced that there will be a very tough match,'' adds the former ECO FC Lagos ace.
