Vincent Enyeama Gives Credit To Teammates
Lille numero uno Vincent Enyeama, who skippered the Super Eagles on Saturday, has given credit to his teammates after the 2 - 0 defeat of Malawi.

Despite Nigeria dominating, the goals refused to come until the 45th minute through African Cup of Nations top scorer Emmanuel Emenike.

Victor Moses rounded up the scoring in the 51st minute from the penalty spot and secured three points for the Super Eagles, who are now through to the final stage of qualifiers.

''The goal we scored was like the oxygen given to a dying man. We needed a goal and got it just at the nick of the first half when we actually needed it. We just have to thank God that we pulled through.

''Malawi goalkeeper had a great game but what is more important now is not what he did but what we achieved.

''We achieved a milestone today(Saturday). We have qualified for the next round.

''I don’t want to talk about others I am only concerned about the Eagles,'' Vincent Enyeama was quoted as saying by the electronic edition of The Nation.

Nigeria will know her next opponent on September 16 when the draw is conducted in Cairo.
