Godfrey Oboabona Explains Why He Has Not Debuted For Rizespor

The former Sunshine Stars skipper was an unused substitute as Rizespor defeated Gaziantepspor 5 - 2 in the fourth round of matches in the Super League played on Saturday.
“ The coach (Riza Calimbay, ed) said I have to understand basic Turkish language before I start playing.
“ This will help me better in communicating with my teammates. But in the next two weeks, I hope to start playing by God’s grace.
“ Since I joined this team, I have been well received by the coaching staff and players,”Oboabona said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Last month, 23 - year - old Godfrey Oboabona penned a four - year deal with Rizespor for a fee of 650,000 euros.
Rizespor are ranked second in the standings, with 9 points from their first 4 matches.
