AZAL Midfielder William Oluremi John Wins Goal Of The Month Award Again

AZAL ace William Oluremi John has won the Goal of the Month award in the Azerbaijani championship for the month of December.
This is the second time the 28 - year - old will be winning the accolade this season after he scooped the prestigious award in August 2013.
William Oluremi John , who represented Team USA at the Fifa Under 20 World Cup staged in the Netherlands back in 2005, has expressed delight at getting recognition from the organizers of the award.
In a telephone conversation with allnigeriasoccer.com, the former Chicago Fire midfielder said : “I am happy winning this award again and would love to dedicate it to the same people as my last award, my family, teammates and the supporters of the club.”
“Other fans that enjoyed the goal are not left out. This award is for them as well.”
William Oluremi John’s 19th minute strike against champions Neftci on December 20 was selected by the panelists as the most eye - catching.
He will be officially presented with the award next week at a ceremony in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan .
