Marco Tagbajumi Makes History With Ermis
Ermis Aradippou advanced to the final of the Cypriot Cup after a hard fought 4 - 1 win (5 - 3 on aggregate) over defending champions Apollon Limassol in the penultimate round on Wednesday evening.

In - form Italian - Nigerian striker Marco Tagbajumi scored three minutes before the hour mark to give the hosts the advantage.

But Apollon , who had won the first leg tie 2 - 1, leveled 4 minutes later through Gaston Sangoy.

And in the 84th minute, Taralidis sent the game to extra time before a brace by Andreas Papathanasiou ended the game as a contest.

This is the first time in the history of the 56 - year - old club that they have qualified for the final of the Cypriot Cup.

They will face APOEL who defeated Doxa 8 - 1 on aggregate in the final match next month.
