Eagles Make Slight Progress In Fifa Ranking
Published: April 10, 2014Nigeria are rated the 45th best team in the world according to the latest ranking published by the official website of Fifa on Thursday, April 10.
In the updated ranking, Argentina, Bosnia and Iran occupy the 6th, 25th and 37th position respectively while the Eagles next sparring opponent ahead of the mundial, Scotland are in 22nd place.
United States are in the 13th position , 3 places below Greece, another friendly opponent before the World Cup.
Around this time four years ago, Nigeria were ranked amongst the top 20 countries in the world.
The next ranking is scheduled to be released by Fifa on May 8, 2014.
