Nigeria international Anthony Ujah has shared his thoughts and impressions on Cologne’s 1 - 1 draw with Ingolstadt on Friday night in the 32nd round of matches in the 2 Bundesliga.
The 23 - year - old bagged his 10th goal of the season, restoring parity for the second - tier champions just after the hour mark after Moritz Hartmann had given Ingolstadt a first half lead.
This is the fourth time in five seasons that Anthony Ujah will reach double - digit goals, and the Super Eagle has stated that he is happy to have found his feet in the last few games.
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com immediately after the game at Audi-Sportpark, Ujah said :“It was a difficult game against a team battling relegation but we showed good character by coming back into the game.”
“Unfortunately, our captain was sent off and we suffered in the last 15 minutes so it is a fair result.
“I’m glad to score in my second consecutive game and will continue to fight to the end.”
Statistically, Anthony Ujah has one of the best goal ratios amongst the attackers in the Super Eagles, having found the back of the net 52 times in 108 matches while defending the colors of Lillestrom, Mainz and Cologne.
