EXCLUSIVE: Nigeria Federation Match Agent,Jairo Pachon Rules Out Nigeria - Algeria Friendly
Published: May 24, 2014Jairo Pachon, the match agent of the Nigeria Football Federation, has poured cold water on reports in the Algerian Press that the Super Eagles will trade tackles with the Algerian National Team in a tune up game prior to the World Cup.
Coach of the Fennec Foxes,Vahid Halilhodži�, did state categorically in an interview that a friendly match has been scheduled in Brazil with Nigeria on June 11 to properly prepare the team for the mundial.
But Colombian agent, Pachon, who organizes all the exhibition matches on behalf of the Nigeria Federation , says there is no truth in the news which emanated from North Africa.
“Algeria? No way, we don’t have any friendly match with Algeria before the World Cup on that date (June 11), ”Pachon said to allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Therefore, the Super Eagles’ confirmed friendly games remain those against Scotland, Greece and the United States.
