Kunle Odunlami Shakes Off Knock
Published: May 30, 2014
Sunshine Stars defender Kunle Odunlami will only miss the World Cup if he is not selected by manager Stephen Keshi and not as a result of injury concerns.
Recall that he had to be substituted against Scotland two days back after he suffered a knock and that is the right word to use as he has recovered from the minor injury, team officials have claimed.
“He is very fine. Kunle Odunlami is a very strong player. He is now walking fine without any problem.
“The team doctor told me he has checked him and said it is just a slight knock and nothing serious. So he is good to go.
“During the Chan (African Nations Championship) in South Africa earlier this year he suffered the same injury in one of the games but quickly recovered to continue in the tournament,” Super Eagles Media Chief, Ben Alaiya said.
Kunle Odunlami was part of the delegation that traveled to Philadelphia, USA on Thursday morning.
