Peter Odemwingie has revealed through his Twitter account that he exchanged jerseys with Lionel Messi after the Nigeria - Argentina match up last Wednesday.

The Barcelona superstar now has four goals to his name at the World Cup, after netting a brace in the 3 - 2 defeat of the African champions in the final Group F fixture.

“Another shirt that will be coming home with me. four - time worlds best and probably best number 10 of all time!” Odemwingie said.
