Former Cameroon Coach, Pierre Lechantre : It Is True We Are Worried About Enyeama
Published: June 30, 2014French Coach and African Cup of Nations winning manager Pierre Lechantre has opined that Vincent Enyeama will be very difficult to beat this afternoon when his country takes on Nigeria in the second round of the World Cup.
The former Cameroon and Mali coach hailed the Super Eagle’s achievements in the French Ligue 1 last season after going 1061 minutes without conceding a goal and being named as the best coloured player in the League.
“With Enyeama, we are a little worried, it is true. He was the best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 this past season.
“I do not even want to imagine the maximum suspense that a shootout would be between him and Lloris. My prediction? 3-1 to France,” Pierre Lechantre told Radio Monte Carlo.
31 - year - old Enyeama has kept three clean sheets at the mundial since his debut appearance against England in 2002.
