A day before Amkar Perm’s game in the Russian Premier League against Zenith St Petersburg, Brian Idowu has professed his admiration for the opponents, saying he would love to return to the club before hanging up his boots.

“As a boy, always dreamed to go to the football field in the jersey of Zenith . But I understand that it is very difficult.
“To begin, I need to get into the main part here in Perm, prove that I can be a top-tier player, such as Danny.
“And only then you can count on an invitation to a club such as Zenith. But again, the desire to remain. I will work to try to establish myself from the best side,” Brian Idowu told bobsoccer.ru.
In an earlier interview with the Russian Press, Brian Idowu admitted that it would be difficult for him to wear the jersey of the Russian National Team, and would consider representing the Super Eagles if he is invited.
