Emmanuel Sarki Resumes Wisla Krakow Training After Visa Denial By United States Embassy
Wisla Krakow midfielder Emmanuel Sarki has to be patient with his country of birth if he dreams of wearing the Super Eagles jersey.

Last month, the former Nigeria Under 20 international was strangely invited to the Haiti National Team for a friendly against Chile on September 9, after claiming that his grandparents are from the Caribbean country.

While Emmanuel Sarki’s eligibility for the clash is in doubt as Fifa has not authorized him to turn out for Haiti, the United States embassy refused to issue him a visa.

The official word from the Nigerian and Wisla Krakow is that the player suffered a slight niggle, which has ruled him out of the meeting at Lockhart Stadium, Miami.

It is with great regret that I could not make the team, experienced a minor injury.

“Together with the medical staff and coach Franciszek Smuda, we decided that the best option for me and the Vistula would be if I stay, recover and prepare our best to the very difficult September games,” Emmanuel Sarki told his club’s official website.

Alongside John Obi Mikel, Chinedu Obasi and Solomon Okoronkwo, now 26 - year - old Sarki featured for the Golden Eaglets at the 2003 Fifa Under 17s.
