Injured Ikechukwu Uche Unlikely To Honour Super Eagles Invitation
Unconfirmed reports in the local media suggest Nigeria manager Stephen Keshi has slightly juggled his squad for the upcoming meeting against South Africa in Cape Town, after dropping misfiring Uche Nwofor and El Kanemi goalkeeper David Obiazor.

To replace the two players in the roster are Villarreal striker Ikechukwu Uche and his elder brother Kalu Uche, who these days plies his trade in the Qatar Stars League for Al Rayyan SC.

In handing a late minute call up to Ikechukwu Uche, Stephen Keshi failed to do his homework as the attacker is currently sidelined with a muscle complaint.

Thus, the former Getafe and Granada man is unlikely to make the trip to Cape Town for the tie against Group A leaders South Africa on Wednesday, assuming those reports are to be taken at face value.

Ikechukwu Uche has been in the international wilderness for close to 19 months, with his last appearance for the African Champions coming against Burkina Faso in February 2013.

The 30 - year - old did not feature in the last game played by Villarreal in La Liga as a result of injury, and did not take part in the training sessions held last week.
