Aalesund Marksman Leke James Now SURE Of Premier League Survival
Published: September 22, 2014After scoring his sixth goal of the season against Stabæk last weekend, Aalesund striker Leke James reckons that the 3 - 0 victory has all but guaranteed his team Premier League survival.
For most part of the ongoing campaign, the Color Line Stadium outfit have flirted with relegation, but they are now one of the form teams in the Tippeligaen, having garnered 10 points from their last 5 games.
“It was not an easy game but the spirit in the team at the moment is high as it used to be.
“We corrected some few mistakes after the first half, got ourselves motivated and came into the second half dominating the game.
“I think we can start thinking of ending in a good or comfortable position,” Leke James told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Leke James has suited up 17 times in the Premier League this season, with 1491 minutes of playing time under his belt.
Tenth on the table AaFK have 5 points more than SK Brann, who occupy the last relegation spot.
