Sylvester Igboun Dedicates Danish Superliga Player Of The Month Award To Agege Fans
Published: October 04, 2014FC Midtjylland’s Sylvester Igboun has scooped the Player of the Month in the Danish Superliga for September, with the Nigerian striker presented with the award before the league game with Hobro on Friday evening.
During the period under review, the 24 - year - old, who is having his best season since he arrived the Danish Championship, notched up 4 goals in 3 matches, including a hat - trick against OB Odense on September 12.
“Special thanks to God Almighty for the special gift I received yesterday as the player of the month.
“I want to dedicate the award to my teammates, family, friends, fans and my Agege family people. Thanks for all the support,” Sylvester Igboun said in a statement.
Over the course of the last five seasons, the former FC Ebedei talent has chalked up 125 appearances in the Danish topflight and has scored 38 goals.
