Michael Babatunde Ruled Out Of Sudan Clash
Published: October 14, 2014Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Volyn Lutsk midfielder Michael Babatunde will not feature for the Super Eagles in the crucial African Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Sudan.
The 21 - year - old sat out training on Monday afternoon and did not participate in the training session held on Tuesday morning, starting from 0700 hours.
He is yet to recover from a knee complaint, the same ailment that saw him miss the clash away to Sudan on Saturday.
Michael Babatunde sustained the injury during the Cup clash between Volyn Lutsk and Dnipro on September 27, but made the trip to Nigeria to join the national team nonetheless.
The Super Eagles squad will not train again before the match against Sudan on Wednesday.
