Sani Emmanuel Given Green Light To Make Beitar Jerusalem Debut
Published: October 27, 2014Golden Ball winner at the 2009 Fifa Under 17 World Cup, Sani Emmanuel, has been given the green light by the Israeli Federation to make his Beitar Jerusalem debut on Monday evening when his new team clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
The 21 - year - old has received his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and all the necessary paperwork that will enable him feature at the Bloomfield Stadium tonight.
While Sani Emmanuel may not make the starting lineup, he has been included in the roster for the game against the Reds, who pay the wages of compatriots Harmony Ikande and Benjamin Francis.
After weeks of negotiations and trials, the striker penned a 1 + 2 year deal with Beitar Jerusalem last week.
He did not make an official appearance for past team Lazio before he ran out of contract in the summer.
