Angelo Ogbonna Battling To Be Fit For Olympiakos Clash
Published: November 02, 2014Ahead of the Bianconeri’s clash with Olympiakos in the Champions League, defender Angelo Ogbonna is battling to be fit for the tie at Juventus Stadium Torino.
The Italy international started Saturday’s 2 - 0 win over Empoli but he had to make way for Stephan Lichtsteiner before the resumption of the second half.
If Angelo Ogbonna fails to recover on time for the match on Tuesday, his place in the squad might be handed to the Switzerland international.
The 26 - year - old has made only one appearance in the Champions League this term, which was against the Greece champions in Piraeus.
The Serie A champions slumped to a 1 - 0 defeat in the first meeting held 11 days ago.
