Kalmar Vow Not To Sign Alhassan Ibrahim Till He Dumps Fraudulent Agent Adam Mohammed
Published: November 13, 2014After months of investigations, allnigeriasoccer.com can tell the masses the reason why Kalmar are yet to offer a contract to Flying Eagles goal poacher Alhassan Ibrahim.
As it is, the Swedish club have sworn not to sign the attacker except he parts company with his dubious agent, Adam Mohammed.
In June, Kalmar invited Alhassan Ibrahim for further trials, assisted him with his visa application and sent him a flight ticket to Sweden.
But agent Adam Mohammed advised his client to abandon Kalmar for IFK Goteborg on his arrival in Sweden.
Adam Mohammed had already signed a document of first refusal with Kalmar, only for Alhassan Ibrahim to leave his apartment and surface at IFK Goteborg.
Kalmar officials were bitterly disappointed with that move and complained to IFK Goteborg, who promptly cut short his trials and sent him back to Nigeria after few days of training.
Kalmar later investigated and discovered that Adams Mohammed collected money in advance for flight tickets and the processing of documents from IFK Goteborg.
This is not the first case of fraud involving Adam Mohammed, regarded as one of Nigeria’s most notorious agents if not the most fraudulent.
To this day, he is still being hunted by Golden Boot winner at the 2007 Fifa Under 17s, Macauley Chrisantus, for duping him of his share of US$1 million transfer fee Hamburg paid for his signature.
