Gil Vicente Striker Simeon Nwankwo Nets Brace In Scrimmage

In preparation for their next official game, Gil Vicente’s first team and the reserve squad were involved in a scrimmage last weekend.

Nigerian striker Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo netted a brace for the main team, who defeated the juniors 8 - 2.

Evaldo and David Batista also had two goals each to their names, while Paulinho and Marlan completed the scoring.

So far this season, Nwankwo has made 6 appearances in the Portuguese topflight, scoring 3 goals.

Gil Vicente will tackle Varzim in the fourth round of the Taça de Portugal on Sunday, November 23.
