Fenerbahce chairman, Aziz Yildirim, is angry with Emmanuel Emenike
following his below - par performance in the 1 - 1 draw with Bursaspor
in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday night.
Named in the starting lineup for the seventh time this season by manager Kartal, the Nigeria international refused to pass to his teammates who were in a better position to score, and to make matters worse, he failed to utilize the chances.
For his part, Emmanuel Emenike has admitted that the Yellow Canaries ought to have secured maximum points at the Bursa Atatürk Stadium, and pointed out that he put maximum effort into the game.
“For us it was a good point. I think we deserved to win the match. It was a tough game in the 2nd half. Praise to God, we’re leaving the pitch with a point.
“I feel bad if I don’t play well. I’m trying to do my best, ” Emmanuel Emenike said in his post match comments.
