Emem Eduok Rules Himself Out Of Dream Team Screening

Dolphins striker Emem Eduok has ruled himself out of the Olympic National Team screening exercise, citing an injury he picked up during the Federation Cup final against Enyimba on Sunday.

Nonetheless, the 20 - year - old will embark on the 300 - mile journey to Abuja just to prove to Samson Siasia and his coaching staff that he habours the ambition of appearing for the Dream Team in the nearest future.

“I will show myself to the coaches in Abuja as a sign of good faith so they know I want to be part of the team.

“I would have loved to be part of the training but I do not want to aggravate the injury which does not seem very serious right now.

“I want to believe that Samson Siasia and the rest of the coaching crew will call me up again at some other time,” Eduok said.
