Penafiel Launch Bid For Warri Wolves Skipper Azubuike Egwuekwe

Penafiel have made contact with Warri Wolves over the temporary acquisition of Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe, 25

While he kept sealed lips on the identities of the clubs, reports emanating from the foreign press have claimed that Udinese, Granada and Watford are exploring ways to sign the Super Eagles defender.

Nonetheless, Penafiel have offered Warri Wolves a carrot, by promising the power - brokers that Azubuike Egwuekwe will be recommended to Porto and Benfica at the end of his loan spell come next June.

Transfer market experts value the Warri Wolves skipper at 350,000 euros, but Penafiel are prepared to pay 50,000 euros less than that figure to clinch his signature.
