Manu Garba Invites 30 Players To Camp Ahead Of AYC
Published: November 28, 2014Coach Manu Garba has unveiled a list of 30 players nominated to attend a training camp ahead of the start of the African Youth Championship scheduled to take place in Senegal from 8–22 March 2015.
An analysis of the roster released on Friday afternoon revealed that 4 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 9 midfielders and 8 strikers will be watched at close quarters by Manu Garba and his backroom staff, beginning from this Sunday.
Some of the headline names that made the list are Dele Alampasu, Musa Mohammed and Wilfred Ndidi, who all have caps for the Golden Eaglets.
The Under 17 World Cup winning manager will also run the rule over Super Eagles invitees Kingsley Sokari and Tony Edjomariegwe.
The invited players will lodge at African Continental Hotel, Kaduna while they will train at Ahmadu Bello Stadium during the camping exercise.
