John Utaka Sent Off For First Time In Eight Years

John Utaka was sent off on his 31st Super Lig appearance for Sivasspor in their 1 - 1 draw with Kayseri Erciyesspor on Monday night.
The Nigeria international took the walk of shame in the 51st minute following an altercation with Kayseri Erciyesspor midfielder Senijada Ibri�i�a.
While referee Coban showed Utaka a straight red card for stamping the ball on the face of Ibri�i�a., the official only cautioned the Bosnia and Herzegovina international after the clash.
This is the first time John Utaka will take an early shower in the past eight years, with his last dismissal coming in Rennes 1 - 1 draw with Le Mans on November 18, 2006.
During the period under review, the former Portsmouth star accumulated 19 yellow cards., including 2 bookings this season.
