Lillestrom Striker Freddy Friday To Arrive Abuja On Thursday
Published: December 10, 2014Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed by a representative of Olympic National Team invitee, Freddy Friday, that the Lillestrom striker will arrive Abuja on Thursday to begin training with the Under 23 team.
The 19 - year - old is amongst the 47 players that coach Samson Siasia is expected to observe at close quarters in the next few weeks.
“I am in touch with Fred, and he has told me he will be in camp on Thursday. We have made all necessary arrangements to that effect.
“He is excited about joining the team, and we are confident he will make the final squad after the screening exercise,” Udia Attai told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Freddy Friday made 16 appearances for LSK this past season, and the highlight of his performance was his brace against Bodo/Glimt in the 29th round.
