Saturday Nanapere scored a brace as Hamrun Spartans defeated Sirens 4 - 1. He opened scoring in the 7th minute before grabbing his second goal 7 minutes from time.
Sliema Wanderers - Qormi
Ex Dynamo Kiev striker Frank Temile scored what turned out to be a consolation for Qormi in their 3 - 1 loss to the Wanderers.
Alfred Effiong and Temile were named in the starting line up and remained on the team - sheet when the game was concluded.
