Published: January 04, 2015
The Nigerian representative of Isaac Success, Dominic Egbukwu, has dismissed reports in the local media that his client will be sanctioned by Granada after returning to Spain late from his Christmas vacation.
Egbukwu has stressed that the Nigeria youth international was granted compassionate leave by the Andalusian outfit following the loss of his grandfather a day before arriving Nigeria for the short break.
“Who said he was going to be fined? Isaac Success was in contact with Granada throughout his extended stay in Nigeria.
“It is not true he will be sanctioned because the club was aware he lost his grandfather,” said Dominic Egbukwu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 18 - year - old traveled back to Spain on Saturday morning on an Iberia Airline flight.
