Obafemi Martins Stars As Seattle Sounders Defeat New England Revolution
Published: March 09, 2015Obafemi Martins has hailed the supporters of Seattle Sounders for their show of solidarity in their 3 - 0 win over New England Revolution in the MLS on Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
The former Nigeria international was on target in the 41st minute, heading home a cross from Tyrone Mears.
“The atmosphere...electrifying. The supporters...next level, ”Martins briefly stated via his official Twitter account.
USA international Clint Dempsey was on target either side of the half, with Martins laying up an assist for his goal in the 67th minute.
Seattle Sounders will take on San Jose Earthquakes at home in the next round this coming Saturday.
