Etisalat U-15 School Cup Quarter Final Kicks Off Today
Published: April 21, 2015Fun, excitement and display of talents are some features football lovers can look forward to at the Etisalat U-15 School Cup National which kicks off today at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos
The eight regional school teams who will compete for the quarter final stage of the tournament are Greensprings Secondary School, Lagos; Asegun High School, Oyo; Government Secondary School, Imo, Washington Memorial Grammar School, Anambra; Rimi College, Kaduna; Army Day Junior Secondary School, Sokoto; Winners College Akure, Ondo and Government Model School, Bida, Niger.
Quarter and semi-final rounds are scheduled to hold April 21st to April 24th, with the final round happening on Saturday, April 25th, 2015.
The winning school team as well as the first and second runners-up this year will benefit from the intensive football training camp that will be facilitated by coaches from one of Europe’s top football teams, FC Barcelona.
The winning team will be rewarded with a cash prize of N2 million for the school while players on the team will be given a sum of N50,000 each.
The first runner up would be awarded with N1 million to the school and N30,000 for each player, while N750,000 will be given to the winning school and N20,000 to players in the 3rd place.
Etisalat U-15 School Cup is a competition designed to connect, engage and promote talents of teens and young adults, on a distinctive platform that will provide an opportunity to achieve a successful career in football.

Group B consist of Army Day Secondary School, Sokoto; Washington Memorial Grammar School, Anambra; Asegun High School, Oyo and Government Model School Bida, Niger.
For the first round, Rimi College, Kaduna will be playing Army Day Secondary School, Sokoto and Winners College, Ondo will be facing Washington Memorial Grammar School, Anambra.
