Juventus Defender Angelo Ogbonna Rues Loss To Barcelona
Published: June 07, 2015Angelo Ogbonna , 27, was an unused substitute on Saturday night as Juventus lost the Champions League final for the sixth time with a 3 - 1 defeat suffered at the hands of Barcelona.
The loss to the Nou Camp side pained the Italy international so much so that he took to social media to express his displeasure after the game at Olympiastadion.
“Losing a Champions League final is a slap in the face, do not forget the nights by Juventus that took us to Berlin,” the Juventus number five said on Twitter.
The central defender appeared only once in the Champions League this term, which came against Olympiakos eight months ago.
Ogbonna has been linked with possible moves to Liverpool, West Ham and Spurs in recent days.
