Lola Philips Rescues Draw For Confluence Queens In Friendly

A late goal by Lola Philips ensured that Confluence Queens snatched a 1-1 draw against Capital City Dove in a warm-up match played at the Area 3 Pitch on Friday.
On Wednesday, the Wada Queens stormed Kaduna for a training tour that ended on Thursday as they intensified preparations for the resumption of the Nigeria Women Premier League which went on break as a result of the Super Falcons’ participation at the 2015 Women World Cup in Canada.
They won 2-0 against Spotlight Queens on Wednesday evening and earned 1-1 draw against the same opponent at the training pitch of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
Confluence Queens are now expected to return to Lokoja on Friday to put finishing touches to their week four NWPL match against Osun Babes on July 4th in Lokoja.
