The Anglo - Nigerian has been rewarded for his fine start to the season which has seen him last the distance in every single game contested by the Hornets in the Premier League.
Since making his international debut for Tartan Army, Anya has netted twice in 15 international appearances.
In a pre - World Cup friendly in May 2014, he lasted 84 minutes on the pitch as Scotland and Nigeria played out a 2 - 2 draw at Craven Cottage.
Scotland will face Georgia on Friday September 4 before an intriguing clash against Germany three days later in Glasgow.
