Super Eagles Star Mikel Makes Starting XI To Face Liverpool, As Ibe Is Benched
Published: October 31, 2015Super Eagles star John Obi Mikel will make his second Premier League start of the season against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, Jose Mourinho has announced.
The 28 - year - old will shield the defenders along with Brazil international Ramires, who few days ago extended his contract with the Londoners.
Mikel has not started a Premier League game since he took to the Goodison Park turf against Everton on September 12, which corresponded to the fifth round of matches.
England youth international Jordon Ibe made Liverpool’s 18 - man squad but will start on the bench at Stamford Bridge.
