Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder Dele Alli Relishing Arsenal Test
Published: November 07, 2015Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is relishing the prospect of facing Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Alli played 15 minutes of Spurs 2 - 1 defeat to the Gunners in the Capital One Cup earlier this season but fancies his team’s chances of success this time around, going by their recent form which has seen them rack up three wins in all competitions in less than a week.
“It’s one of those dreams when you’re a kid – you want to play in these games,” said Dele Alli to tottenhamhotspur.com.
“We’re in good rhythm at the moment, the team is playing well, but it’s a massive game on Sunday – not just for us, but for the fans as well.
“Everyone on the pitch knows how important it is, so we’ve just got to make sure that we recover properly from Thursday night’s match in preparation for the game.”
The England international has appeared 10 times in the Premier League in the ongoing campaign and was on target against Leicester City and Aston Villa.
