Sunday Oliseh Warns Super Eagles Are In A Difficult CHAN Group
Published: November 16, 2015Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh has commented on the African Nations Championship draw that pitted Nigeria in Group C of the tourney alongside Tunisia, Guinea and Niger Republic.
Oliseh has admitted that his side will face a tough task in their bid to qualify for the knock out stages and wants preparations to start in earnest.
“From the line - up of the 16 participants, you will know that it will be a tough journey for everyone, ” the ex Juventus midfielder said in statements published by the official Twitter account of the Super Eagles.
“Our group will be very competitive, we will make sure we prepare very well for the competition.
“For us, we will begin to plan and prepare for this competition after Tuesday’s game against Swaziland.”
The Super Eagles beat Burkina Faso 2 - 0 on aggregate to qualify for the CHAN tournament to be hosted by Rwanda next year.
