Fanendo Adi Believes Portland Timbers Are In A Good Position To Win Western Conference
Published: November 23, 2015Fanendo Adi was in action for 85 minutes as Portland Timbers put themselves in a good spot ahead of the second leg meeting with FC Dallas in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Championship after beating the opponents 3 - 1 at Providence Park on Monday morning.
Liam Ridgewell opened scoring for the Providence Park outfit in the 23rd minute and they had to wait for the second goal in the second half, courtesy of Dairon Asprilla in the 53rd minute but David Texeira pulled a goal back nine minutes later.
Caleb Porter’s side kept their composure and netted a vital third goal in the first minute of injury time through Nat Borchers.
