Fanendo Adi Reveals Teammates Are Behind Sparking Form
Published: November 29, 2015Ahead of the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference second leg against Dallas on Sunday, Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi has revealed that his teammates are behind his sparkling form in Major League Soccer in the 2015 season.
The 25 - year - old has netted 19 goals in all competitions but did not make the scoresheet in the Timbers 3 - 1 defeat of Dallas in the first leg of the MLS Cup Playoffs last weekend.
“The guys have been really fantastic because if they don’t give me the ball I won’t be able to put it in the back of the net,” Adi told timbers.com.
“So the whole team have been amazing and that’s just what’s helping.”
Adi scored the game-winner and series-clincher against Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the Western Conference Semifinals.
