Samson Siasia Hands Dream Team Players $100 Each
Published: December 05, 2015Nigeria U-23s Head Coach, Samson Siasia, has fulfilled a pledge he made to the players before their final Group B clash against Algeria on Saturday night.
The former Nantes striker promised the players $100 each if they qualify for the semi - final of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
The Dream Team roster consists of 21 players, meaning Siasia handed over $2,100 (equivalent of =N=418,000 using the official exchange rate) to the squad.
Nigeria are undefeated after three matches, after winning their first game at the tourney against Mali and drawing the last two with Egypt and Algeria.
Only the top three countries will represent Africa at the 2016 Olympic Games .
