Musa Yahaya Passes Portimonense Medical But Has To Wait For Competitive Debut

The attacking midfielder, who has been dubbed the Nigerian Neymar, underwent a rigorous medical examination with the Portuguese Segunda Liga side on Wednesday and Thursday and has been given the all-clear by medics to start his professional career.
However, the Mutunchi Academy product will not make his competitive debut for Portimonense in their league game against Academico Viseu on Saturday because his International Transfer Certificate has not yet been sent by the Nigerian Federation.
Musa Yahaya was introduced immediately after the interval in Portimonense’s 2 -0 loss to Wolfsburg in a friendly on January 12.
The 18 - year - old has signed a six - month contract with the club based in Faro.
