Exclusive : Russian Premier League Club Launch Bid For Wydad Casablanca Target Chisom Chikatara
Published: January 27, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a Russian Premier League club have set the wheels in motion to sign Abia Warriors sensation Chisom Chikatara in the January transfer window.
The unnamed team were impressed with his performance at the African Nations Championship and are set to formalize their interest by launching a bid to sign the Super Eagles rising star on Wednesday.
Wydad Casablanca were thought to be frontrunners for the services of Chikatara but the transfer window is closed in Morocco whereas it remains wide open in Russia until February 26.
The whole truth and nothing but the truth is that the attacker is not interested in a transfer to Wydad Casablanca and has informed the agents brokering the deal of his decision to join a European club.
However, Abia Warriors Chairman, Emeka Inyama, is coercing the player to accept the proposal from Wydad and a management staff of the club traveled to Morocco this week to conclude negotiations with the Rouges et Blancs.
