Exclusive : Ex-Giwa Striker Ibrahim Shuaibu And Anthony Izuchukwu Sign Contracts With FK Haugesund
Published: January 30, 2016According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, two Nigerian talents Ibrahim Shuaibu and Anthony Izuchukwu have penned contracts with Norwegian Tippeligaen club FK Haugesund following a successful trial.
Both players will remain with FKH until at least the end of the 2018 season, having signed three-year deals with the club retaining the option of prolonging the agreement by an additional season.
Shuaibu is a striker, who turned out for Giwa FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League last year, while Anthony Izuchukwu is a modern day central defender, who can be handy in defensive midfield.
Izuchukwu has been described as a very fast center back, strong and a good passer of the ball.
The deal that took Izuchukwu and Shuaibu to FK Haugesund was brokered by London-based agent Tony Harris, better known as Ahmed Musa’s agent.
The two youngsters join Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong at the Haugesund Stadion.
