West Ham Man Of The Moment Emenike Not Disappointed He Did Not Bag Hat-trick
Published: February 23, 2016Emmanuel Emenike is still basking in the euphoria of netting his first pair of goals for West Ham in their 5-1 hammering of Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup last weekend.
The former Nigeria international has stressed that he was not disappointed that he didn’t walk away with the match ball after he was denied a hat-trick by the assistant referee and the post.
“I’m not disappointed that I didn’t get a hat-trick, the most important thing is that I scored and more importantly the team won. I’ll have to wait for the hat-trick the next time!
“I enjoyed it. It was a great game for the team and I’m happy,” said Emenike to West Ham’s official website.
