2016 Kogi FA Cup: Lokoja FC Edge Black Stars To Semi-final

Lokoja FC progressed to the semi final of the 2016 Kogi State Football Association (FA) Cup after a 3-2 victory via penalty shoot out against Black Stars in Lokoja on Wednesday.
The Nigeria National-wide League played out a 1-1 draw with non-league side at the end of regulation time at the Kogi Confluence Stadium.
The 2011 winners grabbed their lead in the 47th minute before Black Stars leveled at the death of the second half dragging the game into penalties, which Lokoja FC won.
Up next, Kogi United feeders will face Kogi State University (KSU) Football team on March 20.
In the semi-final, reigning champions Federal Medical Centre (FMC) FC who were earlier drawn bye will tackle Nigeria National League side Kogi United on March 26.
Lokoja FC will face winner of Kogi United feeders and KSU fc tie on March 29 in the other semi-final clash.
