Arsenal Rising Star Alex Iwobi Handed First Premier League Start Against Everton
Published: March 19, 2016Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi has been handed his first-ever start in the Premier League on the back of his impressive display against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old starts in attacking midfield along with Germany creator Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, starting from 1345 hours.
Prior to today’s contest with the Toffees, Iwobi had recorded five appearances in the top-flight; coming off the bench in matches against Swansea City, Southampton,Bournemouth, Stoke City and Manchester United.
As for Everton, England midfielder of Nigerian descent, Ross Barkley, has been included in the starting XI for the umpteenth time this season.
