Ex-Spurs Defender William Troost-Ekong Leading By Example; Scores First Pro Goal
FK Haugesund skipper William Troost-Ekong scored his first goal of the season as his club thrashed Aalesund 3-0 in the Norwegian Premier League on Saturday evening.

The homers were off to a dream start when the Nigeria international netted in the fifth minute after a corner kick taken by Alexander Stølås.

Before his first half strike at the Haugesund Stadion, Troost-Ekong had scored one goal in his career,which came in a reserve team fixture against  PEC Zwolle U21s on March 16, 2015, while on the books of FC Dordrecht (Holland).

The central defender made 51 first-team appearances for his various clubs and racked up 3,569 minutes of game time before netting the first goal in his professional career.

The Gent loanee represented the youth teams of Fulham and Spurs before joining FC Groningen and FC Dordrecht.
