Prime Football Club Sunday evening defeated Fehinty Football Club 2-1 to win the 2016 Osun State Federation Cup.
The highly interesting encounter, which brought out the best out of the two teams with Prime playing with more confidence and creating most chances of the first half that ended 2-0.
Adeyemi Adeyeye got a brace for the Omoluabi Giants in the state FA Cup showpiece.
Fehinty FC came stronger in the second half and played with maturity, dominating possession with Adejumo Tope, netting one goal for the Nationwide League One side in the 83rd minute.
Speaking with newsmen after the game, Osun FA boss, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, expressed optimism that the both sides will go places in the national Federation Cup, stressing that the state is blessed with abundant talents.
