MFM Striker Odey Targets Victory At Cemetery Road
Published: April 08, 2016Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos teenage striker, Stephen Odey has shifted his focus to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match-day 11 tie coming up this weekend in Warri.
The Olukoya Boys will be the guests of Warri Wolves in Sunday’s NPFL match at the Warri Township Stadium.
Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men played out a one all draw at the Agege Stadium against Enugu Rangers midweek but Stephen who got MFM FC’s leveler believes his side will make up for the two points they dropped in Wednesday’s NPFL match.
“The game against Enugu Rangers has come and gone though we were not happy with the result because that wasn’t what we bargained for but I believe we will make up for the two points we dropped at home.
“If Rangers can get a point at our home ground then I believe we can get the maximum points in Warri this Sunday.
“We didn’t like the fact that we drew three matches in a row and we can’t continue like that, so I believe we will put smiles on the faces of our supporters and fans with victory on Sunday,” he told MFM FC Media.
The host sit in the 15th position on the NPFL log with 10 points from 8 matches while MFM FC occupy the 6th spot with 16 points from 10 league games.
